WHAT KIND OF CHURCH ARE WE?

Mayo Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church currently lead by the Board of Elders established from within the church. We are not affiliated with any denomination and simply follow the teachings of Jesus as presented in the divine Word of God, the Bible. We owe no allegiance to anyone except God's Son, Jesus Christ. We have no creeds but Christ, no book but the Bible, and wear only the divinely given name of Christian. In all that matters of practice, we desire to follow the early church within the book of Acts. Each Sunday we gather for fellowship, prayer, the Lord's Supper, Bible teaching and preaching!

WHAT WE BELIEVE 

That the Bible is the Inspire Word of God.  II Timothy 3:16-17

That all have sinned and are in need of a Savior.  Romans 3:23

That Jesus Christ is the Savior and there is salvation in no other. Acts 4:12

That God's Plan for Salvation includes:

Faith.......... Hebrews 11:6

Repentance......... Luke 13:3-5

Confession.......... Matthew 10:32-33

Immersion.......... Romans 6:3-6

Faithfulness...... II Peter 1:5-2

The Absolute Deity of Christ.

The Virgin Birth of Christ.

The Historical Creation of Man.

The Sinful Nature of Man.

The Substitutionary Death of Christ.

The Bodily Resurrection of Christ.

In a Bodily Resurrection and as signment of all people to Heaven or Hell
